--- title: "About — Gifts for Coworkers" description: "Who is behind Gifts for Coworkers, how we work and what editorial standards we follow." url: https://gifts-for-coworkers.com/about/ site: "Gifts for Coworkers (gifts-for-coworkers.com)" language: en-US --- # About — Gifts for Coworkers Gifts for Coworkers is a single-subject site about one recurring, high-awkwardness problem: buying a gift for somebody you work with. It exists because the usual answer — panic-buy a mug on December 18 — is how desks fill up with objects nobody chose and nobody can throw away. Every guide here is a buying guide. We explain the constraint (the cap, the count, the deadline), the categories that survive it, and how to pick inside them. We do not lab-test products, and you will never find an invented test result, price or rating on this site. On workplace rules we stay in our lane. We can describe what office gifting norms usually look like and which questions to ask; what your employer actually permits is written in your employer’s policy, and that policy wins. The site is funded by Amazon affiliate links. They never decide what gets recommended, and they never change what you pay. ## Who writes here Priya Raman — Workplace gifting editor.
